Lia Silver-Rose

Born Damira Silver-Rose to U-class immigrant parents Samena & Kyre Silver-Rose on the hot planet of Emmaline, (Dominion equivalent) of June 5th

She has an older sister named Merva.
Damira was a happy child whose parents were hard workers.  Advancement was difficult on Emmaline, especially considering her parents were miners but the Silver-Roses wanted the best for their children.  Both daughters were given piano lessons, though Merva proved the more gifted of the two.  Damira enjoyed school, with a particular aptitude for Geology and completed her Career Training on reaching her Majority.
This was when she changed her name to Lia; taking her birth name as her second, or middle name.
Lia had quite the head for finances and a growing interest in trade and travel.  She began a small business trading and shipping goods for reasonable fees.  She was a qualified jeweler and used her skills to great benefit on different colonies, assessing their geological resources and in some cases. assisting in refinement.  As her contacts and reputation grew, so did her business.

 

But business is not always good.  It’s difficult to earn peoples trust when you’re just starting out.  Before Lia turned 7, she began receiving propositions that indicated she could make far more money if she chose a different line of work.  Reluctant to give up her burgeoning business, she chose to become an Escort as a side job.  It proved fruitful.  

Her professional name is Emerald Winta.  She goes by Emerald for trading and gemstone/geological jobs and Winta for her Escort work.  Most of Winta’s clients are not aware of her real name.  This is also true of most of Emerald’s clients/contacts.  Lia prefers to keep her identity to herself.  Never cross the streams…

Winta has quite an extensive little black book and certain rather high profile clients.  At least that’s what the rumours say.

In the course of her work as a High Class Escort, she was courted by a young F-class gentleman named Sage Xia-Meena-Amabel-Quinlan.  He offered her a large sum to bear his child.  After some consideration, she agreed and subsequently Ulalia Xia-Meena-Amabel-Quinlan was born.  Her father accepted her into his House, so LIa’s name does not appear associated with her daughter.  She has chosen to pay monthly maintenance for the child in exchange for pics and occasional vids as she grows.  She has no other contact.  Little Lali is almost 2 and will soon be starting Induction.

Much though she loved her parents, her desire for travel and adventure has taken her far from her native home and she has not seen them for quite some time.  She was never close to her sister and this remains true to this day.

Recently Lia rented some cargo space and a cabin on a Walrus class Freighter.  She has decided that moving around is most conducive to her dual lifestyle.

Lia is charismatic, beautiful, intelligent and highly skilled in several areas.  Her trading job is as legal and legitimate as her name.

She is looking forward to the new adventures her travel will bring.

 

Lia has a companion plant; a decorative cabbage named Rosaline.

      Lol not much. Finally went on the computer and updated the XP I spent – 1 point to increase her Pilot skill to 11, 4 points for 2 levels of Less Sleep Advantage (stuff we discussed earlier).
