F-040-Oliver: Spanial (Hyperspace to Mundo Zargo), Engineering

There’s a workshop area on the top of the engineering decks with workbenches and space to lay out items.  Also, if he’s going to take a hardware approach, there may be some equipment up there he’ll need.

He spends some time studying the Widget from the outside, using various tools and gadgets suited for the task.  In addition to the obvious bits noted earlier, there is a manufacturer’s name, Herrera Spacetech (ULIB), and a part number.

There’s no mechanical damage to this Widget that Oliver can see.  It may be because he’s currently reading about it, but it occurs to Oliver that some of the effects he’s seeing in the storage structure microcharges are consistent with this device having been exposed to some sort of EMP effect.
