F-005-Lia: Spanial (N-Space to Jump Point), Control
Sorry, the metal experiments are covered under the generic title of Research in BB6 to BB10.
I figure that slot becomes somewhat flexible; that OK?
I understood she draws lines with clients? Does that mean she did not do so with Cinna, but did with Raina?
As to the second question, roll Detect Lies.
Control
The wallet unfolds to reveal a flat blue card, similar in size to a Money card, embossed with a slightly holographic logo of the Mercantile Bureau.
Dominion Mercantile Bureau Merchant Spacer Qualification Lia Silver-Rose U-201423-VV-LJS-01-002-F Commercial Aerospace Pilot Cargo Master (Standard) Issued NF 211.441 |
There’s a machine-scannable data block and some legalese on the back – Person whose name appears on this card is authorised by the Mercantile Bureau… and so on.
Folded into a pocket in the wallet is a hardcopy of her certificate, suitable for framing. It’s a little fancier and with extra details, like the name of the official who signed it off and Kwint and Karmen’s names as her examiners and Karmen as the oversighting Captain.
Yeah that’s fine.
In terms of drawing lines, when Lia took Raina on as a client, it was after being introduced to her as a smuggler. Raina asked her out and was rejected, with Lia stating her usual “I don’t date as it interferes with my business” line. When pushed, she revealed that she found Raina attractive and that this would be insurmountable. Raina found other ways to pursue this issue and subsequently, lines were drawn. She would not have had the same misgivings with Cinna.
12 vs 13 for Detect Lies.
Lia is thrilled with her new qualifications and says as much, thanking Karmen with a big grin.
