People settle in, most start eating.
Prrri stands and sits back from the table, says to Lia, “Xlia, Xi do not nneed a place at thee table.”
Kwint’s food is good, much better than the meal packs Oliver was eating on the Vizierate sloop.
After she’s had some initial food Karmen says, “Alright, so we don’t usually travel with this many crew on board.
“Control crew will continue usual Watches, Jennie in Red, Ipan in Blue, Lia in Green.
“Oliver, make yourself available in Green, we’ll put that technical brain of yours to use. Report to Gregar and you two can figure out a work programme. Soon as we get into hyperspace I’d like you to sit a watch and you can run through a training sim in case you have to run Spanial for real. As we discussed, you can observe the undock to get an idea of how we work Control in reality.
“Gregar, keep Jennie in the loop.
“So, the plan ahead is, we head for Mundo Zargo, drop off Mer Kort,” she gives him a nod, “pick up our payment.
“Picked up a load of speccy cargo that I’d like to sell there as well. Not sure how long we’ll be at Mundo Zargo, got some potential for something else.”
She nods at Kort again, “Much as Mundo Zargo’s been good to us. Might see about gettin’ away and back.”
She looks around the room, “Travel time’s usually about 10 Cycles.
“Any questions? Comments?”
Metagame
Alright, we’ll end this module on departure from Zarg’s World; think of it as Part1 and Part 2, perhaps.
Lia will give Prrri a pat on the arm in thanks for the chair but leaves room for him anyway. She will give Oliver a small smile and a nod when Karmen mentions his watch will be in Green, otherwise she says nothing.
“Sure, whatever you need of me.”
At some point he comments to Kwint on the food being good.
He has no questions.
