E-457: Merchant Freighter Spanial (Docked at Zarg’s World Highport), Common Room
Common Room Dinner
The Common Room table is getting a little crowded.
- Karmen
- Jennie
- Gregar
- Kwint
- Ipan
- Prrri
- Lia
- Oliver
- Kort
On the plus side Kwint’s cooking smells really good.
It’s a Job until undock.
A couple of people are drinking alcohol, but everyone’s keeping things light, there’s work to be done by some people later.
Lia shows up last, most people have served themselves and are in the process of taking seats.
Kwint, “I was just about to send out a search party. Grab some food before it goes cold.”
Karmen greets Oliver, “For sure, welcome to our table.”
Karmen wants to go over a few things during the meal.
Do Lia or Oliver wish to do or say anything or have any questions before she does?
Metagame
So, I had originally intended this module to run until Spanial reached Captree. However, it’s been six months in real time and I’m thinking of ending it on departure from Zarg’s World, giving a small XP award and running another module through to Captree, again with a probable small XP award, rather than a single module with XP awards closer in size to what you’re used to.
Note that it’s possible the journey to, events on, and events after Mundo Zargo will go very quickly. Or they may not – you did just spend 3 months doing a minor side quest that took less than a Cycle in game time.
So, any preferences re ending this module early or not?
Lia will simply give Kwint a grin and head for the food. Working makes her hungry.
She is happy to hear what Karmen has to say.
I’m fine with smaller modules and modest rewards if that’s what suits. Apologies for the length of play. I can be more circumspect if you’d rather?
I’m happy for things to take as long as they need to as long as they’re still fun for everyone. I’m just mindful that it’s been a while in real time since this module commenced (also partially because I had a bit of a break from Dominion over Christmas.)
Oliver politely greets anyone he makes eye contact with. He grabs himself a modest plate of food and occupies appropriate space where there is room.
Oliver is also happy to hearwhat Karmen has to say.
Shorter modules are fine. Play is play as far as I see it at the end of the day.
