E-306: Zarg’s World Downport, Circus Galacta
As Oliver is in the pistol section he’s effectively competing against the shooting range, not Kwint and Kort.
On the plus side, this is a shooting range so he has time, he gets to aim on some of the targets, adding +1 to his Effective Skill, so he is able to knock down some Lizards. He wins a Coin Post with a Circus Galacta tag.
(All Dominion Money coins have a hole in them – a Coin Post is a device designed to take advantage of this as a coin carrying device instead of a purse.)
His yellow circus pistol replicates the familiar electrical zap sound of his elecrolaser.
In the adjacent range, Kwint and Kort’s blue guns are making bang sounds and look to have light recoil. Kwint seems to be getting his ass handed to him by Kort. Like Oliver, Kwint wins a Coin Post with the red-and-white striped Circus Galacta logo on it. Kort wins a stuffed Pristine AlpCow plushie and doesn’t seem to know what to do with it.
“Lia! Here, for keeping me company while I exercise.”
Kort offers Lia the toy.
Lia continues to be amused but accepts the plushie with a smile.
“My hero. I’ll call her…Kortney.”
Oliver thanks the game supervisor and puts the trinkets in his backpack.
