E-270: Shuttle Hio (Enroute to Zarg’s World Downport)
Lia brings the shuttle down through the atmosphere of Zarg’s World and over the dark and cold side of the tidally-locked world. She guides the vehicle to a runway landing at the Downport and then taxis to the assigned parking bay.
A transit bus rolls out to meet them and take them into the Downport terminal. Aboard the bus there a perfunctory customs check as they’ve come direct from an interstellar ship on its own shuttle.
The single Legionnaire who’s doing the check straightens up at Oliver’s Gold Tag – does he react, or perhaps try to conceal it?
If Lia spots that reaction, she will be amused and interested in Oliver’s reaction.
Oliver just thanks him at an appropriate moment and gets on the bus. He isn’t ashamed, he just doesn’t acknowledge the importance.
