“I expect that there will be a settling in period, followed by some new policy initiatives, which is where I find my opportunities. Further, a shift like this leads to power vacuums all down the chain. Assuming Haugh is about to replace Sneed, the scenario will be repeated all down the chain on Mundo Zargo. The new Governor will do the same, and if the new Governor is promoted from within the Mundo Zargo Bureaucracy then there will be more repetitions and opportunities to leverage.”
He takes a drink.
“I hope they do promote from within, I like it here on Zarg’s World and I’m not traipsing across Dominion space to chase the fall out, but Mundo Zargo is not too far away.”
She chuckles.
“No it’s certainly close enough for you to catch a whiff of any fallout that might occur.”
She eats some more entree.
“What’s the name of her number two? The one with the attractive arm candy?”
