B-159: Hopper, Missile Cache Asteroid
Kwint says, as he slowly flies toward Lia and the Hopper, “How about a luxury hotel on Zargonia? That’d be safer.”
Kort ignores him and says to Lia as he regains his feet, “they’re half unloaded, we might as well finish the job.”
Kwint catches himself on the Hopper’s roll bar, still clutching the missile, and plants his feet firmly on the Hopper.
“Samuel, you need to be careful if you pull yourself up onto stuff. In auto mode, the Gecko shoes on most vacc suits detect your ankle movements and pressure on the inside of the shoe to determine when to switch on and off so you can walk. I was watching you, your Geckos wouldn’t release when you tried to get onto the Hopper so you pushed harder and then they suddenly let go. If they don’t come free, ease off and either use your manual control or move like you’re walking up stairs.”
Kort says, “Thanks. I’ll remember that,” he sounds sincere and appreciative.
Does Lia wish to respond to any of the above, or to Kort’s negative response to her question?
She’ll watch the exchange first.
“Gregar, do you still need help with the comms or should I stay with Grass in case we have any further drifting?”
