If she stays on schedule she’s due for a hit on the shuttle during the trip in. 

If she takes a hit before the shuttle leaves, she’ll be due for one just before Spanial arrives, though she can run up to a Cycle over before there are any really bad effects from missing.

The team descend the boarding tube into the bus (ships’ drives are slightly radioactive, so walking around unprotected on the starside of a downport is not generally a good idea for any length of time!)  

Aboard the bus are three black-uniformed Legionnaires – one a driver and two with the Customs logo on the left breast of their uniforms.

It may interest Lia to know that they all happen to be men. 

Karmen presents the ship’s ID doco for inspection, and the Senior Customs Officer checks through it while the Junior checks everyone’s tags.

The Senior says to Karmen, “No cargo.”

“No.”

The Senior says, “Head in Driver.”

The Junior begins a bag scan.
