    She will slip the widget and pen knife into her own pocket. Her hand reaches up and runs through her hair. Whilst that’s happening, she will tuck the watch and tag into his own outstretched hand and lovingly close his fingers over them.

    Her gaze and tone have never faltered.

    “Keep this close, as a reminder of me.”

    She presses his closed fist.
