Without breaking her gaze from Kort, Karmen reponds, “For sure, Lia, take what you need.”
Kort holds Karmen’s gaze for several seconds then he does look at Lia, “I agree, I think we should find out as much as we can before we return. The more comprehensive a report we can give, the better.”
Gregar seems about to speak, glances at Kort, and says nothing.
Ipan says, uneasily, “Anything else you want M-, Captain?”
She looks to her son, “make yourself available to assist Gregar, Prrri or Lia if they need you.
“Gregar, Prrri, see if you can get that safe open.
“But right now, I’m starved.”
She moves to the Galley and pulls out a meal pack, mutters, “I’m for sure keen to get Kwint back.”
Lia will follow Karmen.
“Not to be a pain but I was wondering about the sparklies.”
She indicates the jewellery and watches.
“Some of the watches were damaged but once I have a look, I’m sure they’re fixable. As for the jewellery, if any of the pieces are likely to be flagged, I can ensure they don’t fit their previous descriptions. How does that suit?”
