Oliver quickly realises the sniper rifle is too awkward for the cabin and removes the scope, leaving the rifle in the locker.
He twists back into his seat, deftly pulls his belt across and clicks it home, then raises the scope to his eye and focuses it on Cagnotti’s skidoo, just as Cagnotti reaches the intersection. With the other vehicle at an angle as it turns Oliver gets a clear view absent the snow being kicked up behind and reads the registration.
That is indeed Billy Bobb-Jobethunt’s skidoo.
Skidoo
At the intersection Cagnotti turns the skidoo into a sliding left, heading away from the main gate and toward the PSO and recovers gracefully,coaxing a burst of speed from the agile vehicle as he continues down and around the curving road.
Cagnotti rolled well for both his optional acceleration roll and Flee action and is now at Long range from the Patrol Vehicle and Extreme range from the Crawler.
