- Specifically, Oliver has read up to 208.670
- The last mention of ‘Contact’ was on 208.280 (see 9-076) when Argyle learned that ‘Contact’ had been killed in an industrial accident at the nearby mine where he worked.
- They last saw Argyle on 211.297 and it’s now 211.417 so there’s three kiloCycles between where he’s read up to and what he might expect to find in the journal.
