He finds Peyton at the front desk, discussing hunting conditions with a wispy-haired overweight man.

After a brief wait while the conversation ends, with the hunter trudging soulfully away (he doesn’t seem very into the whole hunting thing – it’s unclear why he’s here), Peyton says that he has not seen Argyle since they were last here.
