9-123: Peyton’s Hunting Lodge

Yes, that sounds like Wu.

Dicard is slow to emerge from the Crawler and joins them in the restaurant.  It seems his original plan was to reach Argyle’s lodge before dark, but he’s now being confronted with a consensus from his team that everyone would like to sleep and get there fresh in Green Shift NextCycle.

He may not be too hungry even though he’s shy a meal, though a late snack might go down very well.

Can Oliver roll an appropriate social check to help convince Dicard not to be a dick and insist they press on?  (Chris, Alan and Fromm all have fairly confronting and sometimes acerbic personalities and are as likely to make Dicard stubborn as agreeable.)

    Sure, I’ll attempt that.
“Dicard, sir. I know you’re pressed for time but maybe, if Argyle has returned, rested eyes and minds might perform better in a combat situation. It might be advantageous to stay a shift and make our move during the next Green.”
If Dicard takes a moment to ponder that, Oliver will add in “He’s either already left or not going anywhere.”

Rolled an 8 for that. I’d assume using Diplomacy for this tactic so vs 11. If you think it’s fast talk then it’ll be vs 12.
