9-120: Pristine

Very well.

It’s BR10 on 211.415 when their vehicle arrives.  The star is about 45 degrees high.

It looks to be the same as the model they first used for the trip to outback Pristine, except this one is painted in Administration Bureau Cobalt Blue, and again unlike the picture, does not carry armaments.

(Image subsequently updated to cobalt blue unarmed model)

An Administration Bureau driver drops it off, has Dicard present his tag to sign for it and takes their nearby electric cart back to the main gate.

Dicard says, “let’s go,” and he climbs aboard.

Alan seats himself in the driver’s seat.

Assuming Oliver climbs in, he sees Dicard clipping himself into one of the bunks and taking what looks like a sleeping pill.

When everyone is aboard, Alan maneuvers the vehicle out of the Vizierate compound, through the town and then to the turn off where he puts the vehicle along the rugged road out of the basin that leads first to Peyton’s Lodge and then on to their destination.

It will take about a Job to get to Peyton’s Lodge, and Alan heads there rather than turn onto the even rougher track to Argyle’s, apparently ready for a break from the drive.

How will Oliver occupy his time on the journey?

  1. Oliver Starr says:

Oliver takes his seat and buckles in.
He’ll keep reading as far as he can, I suppose.
