Erin nods, apparently satisfied with Oliver’s optimism.

The elevator quickly reaches Deck 1 and the Dorsal Door opens.  A short seal has been extended to the hull of the Jolly Shuttle to connect to an access hatch.  A transfer airlock (currently pressurised) incorporating a 90 degree Escher transfer ladder leads up a ladder to a small passenger area.  There are two rows of four seats, with two seats each side of an aisle.

Alan is sitting forward in the single control station, Erin pats Oliver on the arm again in farewell and moves to talk technical things to him about the shuttle.  As well as the more technical items Oliver overhears her say, “I’ve checked the ship as thoroughly as I can, but this is the first time it’s been flown since we took delivery of this ship, so take it carefully.”

Oliver is first here and can have his pick of seats.

Would he like to do or say anything?

  1. Oliver Starr says:

    Oliver will sit at 6.

He doesn’t say much, he just thanks Erin before she goes and sits down, preparing for departure.
