Dicard

As they’re getting up to leave the room Dicard asks, “So, what do you think of the new ship?”

At this time I’ll point out a couple of things that are listed in the Ship Design section, but you may not have noted (Oliver would be aware of these things as a result of the time spent getting to know the ship before undocking from Zebulon Highport):
  • The ship has a weapon turret equipped with a single missile launcher
    • It’s intended to launch probes, but the only practical difference between a probe and a missile is the payload
  • As the Scan Officer, Oliver now has a Multipurpose Sensor Array to play with
  • The ship is capable of Jump-3 and 1G of N-Space acceleration, though it’s slower through hyperspace than the Snark was
  • An unstreamlined vessel, it has a small shuttle available for surface trips

  1. Oliver Starr says:

    5 on Books.
    1 on Rec/Movies
    3 on sleep.

“Sensors are more interesting to play with, seems a bit less officient for the tradeoff of being more luxurious. Seems good to me. You happy with your choice?”
