A rife was found with the vacc-suited figure, but neither Lia nor Karmen recovered it. It would probably fit in the empty slot.
She will need a data reader of some sort to check the widget (think functionally equivalent to a contemporary USB drive.)
Actually, it’s TL9, she can probably just plug the thing into her suit (though it will possibly be loaded into the suit’s log recorder…and uploading a virus to your vacc suit could be bad…)
But Curiosity is a terrible thing…
She will plug it in.
