8-302: Merchant Freighter Spanial – Control

Ipan opens then closes his mouth, then says, “be careful.”
Karmen stops, goes to him, gives him a sort of awkward pat on the head, and then follows Lia and Kort out of Control.
Kort goes to to his cabin to change into the Vacc Suit he apparently brought with him.
Lia and Karmen arrive in the Hangar just as Gregar enters; Prrri is already there working on the Hopper.
She says, “so, we’re flying out to the wreck to take a look and see if Lia’s theory that it was aliens has any merit.”
Prrri cocks his head to the side, “aliensss?”
Karmen continues, “Need to assess how viable it will be to dock. So I have a specialist in the vehicle we’re taking, and another who’s the closest we have to a computer expert that we might need. One of you has to stay behind and look after Spanial. Volunteers, thoughts?”
Lia can chip in if she wishes.
Lia is focused on responding to Prrri.
“Another species called the Yarg! From what I understand, they’re a little like jellyfish. Not that there are official reports of their physical appearance or physiology but that’s what I’ve heard. They’re ammonia-based, so really, their form could be fluid! That would be fascinating. I wonder how they communicate? They might not even have mouths… what if their language is not audible? They might communicate via smell!”
This speculation will continue. She is too wrapped up in her own thoughts to even hear Karmen’s question.
