8-301: Merchant Freighter Spanial – Control

Karmen says, “Well, I guess we have a working theory for what happened here.”

She sounds the maneuver alarm.

“Just going to slow down our approach; for sure don’t want to overshoot.”

There’s a sense of lateral movement as Karmen flips Spanial around to use the main thrusters to decelerate.  The wreck disappears momentarily from the screens and then reappears as Ipan adjusts the sensor array.  It looks larger now.

Jennie says, “Karmen, I have a preliminary solution, enough to give us a rough jump point if we need one.”

Karmen says, “Good, you have Control.”

Jennie responds, “I… have Control?”

It’s as much a question as an acknowledgement.

Karmen continues, “Lia, Kort, get suited up, we’re going to take a look.  Jennie, bring us in as close to that wreck as you think safe.  Ipan, alternate checking the wreck with full passive scans around us,” she thumbs a comms control, “Gregar, Prrri, meet me in the Hangar please.”
