8-120: Zarg’s World – Parda’s Second Hand Books, Videos and Bric-a-Brac

While leafing through a box of old rings and other oddments, Lia spots a finely crafted ring setting, which looks to be made of platinum.  It has had the original centre stone replaced with a cheap glass imitation that is now chipped.  She estimates the setting is worth a few hundred Moneys, and the price on the side of the box is ʄ10 each.

Meanwhile, the store attendant is moving piles of printed books to get at the one she wants, eventually returning to the counter with a large folder.  It is about A3 in page size, about 7cm thick, and bound with thin metal office stationery covers.  Clearly someone has printed this off on their printer and put a cover on it.

  1. Lia Silver-Rose says:

Lia will study the ring, put it back and pick up another one. Eventually she will choose three rings, the platinum one amongst them.
