8-057: Merchant Freighter Spanial – Control

Jennie says, “Very well, Lia, I assume you’ve never done a jump exit before.”

It’s a statement, not a question.

“I’m going to slave the live inputs to your station but you’ll be flying a simulator.  I’ll have actual control over the ship.”

She explains in technical pilot jargon what Lia is theoretically supposed to do; 99 times out of 100 it’s actually pretty simple and the pilot doesn’t really do very much, that one other time, quick reactions are required.

“Then we’ll figure out where we are and I’ll switch over live control to you to put us on our course into Zarg’s World.  Questions?”
