7-362: Maldemar 732, Galley

No nightmares hopefully makes for an Oliver who is somewhat tired but has had some rest.

In the Galley, the new nature of the ship means there is only food packs available, but there is  coffee…and sugar.

A Task into breakfast there is a chiming sound through the ship.

Dicard says, “Ah!” and disappears in the direction of the airlock.

He returns followed by a slim, dark-skinned man in a beige shirt and pants.

“Team, this is Abhineet Downer, our new mechanic.  He’ll be working to Erin on engineering matters.”

Abhineet sits and drinks a glass of water with people over breakfast.

Chris ask a couple of questions, “Where are you from?”

“Zargonia.  I was born in Settlement.”

“You been working for the Vizierate long?”

“One kiloCycle.”

Chris is normally more chatty but seems a little hung-over still; he has had a shower since yesterday though.

Oliver can ask questions, or other things if he wishes.

After breakfast, Dicard says that the ship needs a full post-maintenance pre-flight.

Fromm is to check out Medical.

Abhineet is to Comne to Control to be registered with the ship, then Erin and Abhineet are to start running checks in engineering.

Chris is to check out the ship in detail with an eye to security.

Alan, Oliver and Dicard will go to Control, start running the pre-flight, familiarising themselves with the new systems and supporting the engineering staff.

While on the bridge, Oliver will, of course have access to the comms system, so if there’s anything message or comms-wise he wants to do before leaving Zargonia, now is a good time.
