Oliver spots a brief exchange of glances between Dicard and Nanny, and Nanny and the other Vizier continue on to their chosen booth escorted by Gerald.
Dicard comes over to the booth where Oliver is sitting.
Mallory interrupts her story with, “Bluevening Richard.”
Dicard says, “Mallory. Oliver…what are you doing here?”
His tone is quite neutral.

Oliver tries to keep his composure.
“Mallory invited me here.”
