7-024: Illuminator – Witnish system

Erin

“Well if you put it like that, I’m pleased that my productivity is in keeping with the highest standards published by the Dominion.”

Computing in the Dominion

The office is one of the obvious places to send from.  He has a networked terminal there, a networked terminal in his quarters and there are other networkable terminals scattered around the ship.  He can compose messages on his PDA (or LDA) but they don’t get sent until he connects that device to a terminal and synchronises his data.  Remember: no wireless connectivity in the Dominion, only wired.

So, we can assume he sends that message.

Response

“They’ve given me a workstation down here in Engineering, Deck 40, tucked in between the FTL Drives and the Fusion reactor.  You’ll have to show me your office at some point.

“I figured we could hook up and explore Witnish together, it’s not very big, but it might be fun.  If you’re still sleeping in Red we could meet at the lock at GR03 after we dock?”

Chris

Chris tries to get into a shout with Oliver, but eventually gives up.

At some point, Oliver will be able to make his escape.

Give me a social roll of some sort to deal with Chris please.

Sportsing

I’m afraid I haven’t sportsed since mandatory sportsing in physical Education classes.

…and that is exactly how people in the Dominion talk about Sportsball.

Next

If Oliver is amenable to Erin’s suggestion and doesn’t want to do anything else we can jump to them meeting at the lock, otherwise, let me know what you would like to do.

  1. Oliver Starr says:

Erin 1:”As we are all meant to be.”

Oliver doesn’t fully trust this messaging system, as he assumes a skilled admin with enough clearance could read every message that goes through. He believes he could too, given enough time.

Response: “Sure, we can do both of those things. I’ll see you there.”

Chris: 12 vs I’m going to say this is Carousing so 11.

Next: Sure, we can do that.
