“Very well, if you are agreeable I’ll put you on as Cargo Officer and apprentice Pilot, you can help Kwint with schmoozing our guest, and stand some watches as well. The standard starter rate is ʄ120 per Cycle, payable every 30 Cycles or prior to port call, whichever comes first. I estimate this job will take us around 30 to 40 Cycles, but I don’t know for sure. Plus, you’ll be eligible for a bonus payment at the end, like all of us, if everything works out.”
