6-335: Aston’s Hotel Room
Standard hotel room, there is a desk chair, a comfy chair and a couch.
Aston starts recapping the night and apparently wondering what he’s got himself into, what with the Vizer wanting to see him and the Assistant Secretary asking him questions about moving Bureaus. He says he was worried that Emerald was going to give the game away about the Vizier but should have known he had nothing to worry about. He laughs at the memory of ‘old purple beak’ and calls Zayaire an idiot for underestimating Farbello.
He talks for a while then goes quiet and is apparently dozing off on the couch.
Question before we continue – Aston paid 3000 for Lia’s services until Red shift change – since she is paid hourly, what rate was that per hour and is he in arrears yet?
She is discounting the emerald as payment since it was a gift. Gifts and shiny things are bonuses. 😉
She will basically listen patiently while he blathers, making the right noises when needed. If he asks anything specific, she will answer but she is counting the hours at this point.
