Aston relaxes a tiny bit and says, apparently casually, “Yes, we were trapped near the buffet.”
Namasia says, “and what did he say that you formed that opinion of him?”
She senses that, like Aston, Namasia’s tone is very casual, but he is quite interested in the answer.
She smiles.
“He wanted to play a game of Truth or Dare. I was intrigued. I asked a question and responded to one in turn. He was rather insightful…”
She laughs and puts a hand on Aston’s knee.
“Poor Aston kept trying to extract me but I confess to finding the conversation rather… stimulating.”
