Adler listens, nods and then waves Dragoult away, he acknowledges her and his body language relaxes, he seems quite happy. He heads approximately toward Winta and Aston, but Lia realises he is actually making a beeline for the food tables on the opposite side of the room.
Adler glances briefly at Zayaire, who is still talking to the Assistant Secretary, and then focusses on her glass, apparently lost in thought.
Lia nuzzles into Aston’s neck a little.
“He seems to have completed his task, whatever that may have been. She certainly seems to be pondering something. Any ideas?”
