As soon as Lia walks in Jennie greets her, but then blurts out, “Do you think it is alright for me to go on station?  Karmen said my duty was with the ship…”

    “And you’re fulfilling your duty by letting me give you a breather for a while. Go, buy some overpriced food, make good use of my bathtub…”

    She pauses briefly.

    “If you really don’t want to, I won’t make you. We can do this another time.”

    She looks at Jennie.

    “It’s your call…”
