6-069: Merchant Freighter Spanial
Ghost Rider
It’s Jennie’s original run, Lia’s best run and a new run that looks as if Jennie had several tries at before she got a marginal improvement.
Scent
I agree the invention rules are a little complicated, and I’m not sure if my short summary of two pages of rules makes things clearer or murkier. I’m going to go with Lia being pretty satisfied at how this scent has turned out.
Winta
I don’t know… Jon smiled.
Docking
Lia will need her own documents (just her ID tag is fine) and the Cargo manifest (probably on an eClipboard). As XO and acting Master, Jennie will have her personal documents and the ship’s other papers.
Karmen has prepared all the cargo manifest documents Lia is likely to need.
The crew assemble at the Port airlock. There is a short wait and then two black-clad Dominion Legion customs officers come aboard. Lia notes they look a little tired. This is the start of Blue shift, but it seems likely that these two are Green Shift and have not been relieved.
In any case, the Senior Customs Officer takes the ships papers from Jennie and the Cargo Manifest from Lia while the Junior checks everyone’s personal IDs, taking everyone’s tags and running them through the tag reader strapped to her arm. When she is finished the Junior makes a snide comment about the, “Rainbow brigade of tags – you just need a Gold.” Because it wouldn’t be a customs inspection without some sort of comment like that.
The Senior asks (orders, but it’s phrased politely) Lia to lead him to the Cargo Hold for a manifest check.
Lia’s Social Chameleon advantage should ensure she gets no stigma for her lack of gold tags, or any other colour in a different setting.
She will accept the politely phrased orders with a charming smile and lead the way to the cargo hold.
