6-061: Merchant Freighter Spanial – Control Room

Karmen gives her a smile as she leaves, and, I assume, Lia puts her head into the online manual.

Some time later she is pulled back to reality by Jennie’s arrival in Control.

[By the way – Lia can have a star ۞! because I’ve been looking for a word to use to describe that part of a ship that isn’t Control Room or Bridge and I like the idea that it just gets shortened to ‘Control’ and you phrased it that way the other day!] 

“Hi Lia, I have to supervise the shuttle’s undock maneuver.  Make sure it doesn’t affect our course.”

She gives a jerk of her head that clearly means, ‘Out of my chair’, although in a friendly fashion.

Formally she says, “I relive you,” then less formally, “take the scan station and observe.”
