5-067b: Legion Cast – Medical Centre
When he catches her gaze she holds it for several seconds before blinking slowly and looking down along his body then raising her eyes to his again before delivering her line about not bothering to get dressed and handing him the clothes.
In response to his questions she says, “Both. Your medical is provisionally clear and I’m not ending the assessment here. Now we assess your physical fitness and general ability.“
She pauses a moment then, “Oliver, the point of this assessment is twofold: First, I need to be sure you meet the threshold requirement to be a member of the Legion; but secondly, I also have to assess how you can best be a part of us. This is a Classified Special Recruitment and so suggests your role assignment will be something non-standard, but I have to assess for what Class you are best suited. Your technical skills immediately bring to mind a Staff classification, but you might turn out to be a crack shot with the heart of a warrior and we’ll put you into Operations. So, you get to go be sweaty for a while.”
That may have been the barest flick of a smile. Oliver’s not sure.
Felicity leads him out of the Medical Centre, and along the corridor to a gymnasium. Oliver and Felicity are the only ones there.
Comments or questions before the assessment continues?
As they’re walking to the gymnasium he’ll add a comment.
“Well I doubt I’ll be that impressive in that regard. Though I haven’t taken the opportunity to get sweaty in a while.”
I imagine he’s doing some lazy arm stretches as they’re walking.
