5-033: Vizierate Interview Room

As in, ‘no, from a certain point of view, I didn’t cut your father’s legs off and leave him to die a horrible death next to a river of molten lava’?

Fine with the AHE Certificate, I can imagine Oliver sitting studiously in his room at all hours while trying to study five or six units at once.  Some of that may have gone into his learning how to think (ie upping his IQ stat and/or his computer wiz talent) as well as in increasing his specific skills.  Worth noting:  At a contemporary university you can’t go ten steps without falling over a computer science student.  In the Dominion, that is a lot rarer.  Lots of people who work with IT even go through the Career Path rather than the Higher Education Path and even though they may be working with software, tend to approach things as technicians rather than computer scientists or the way developers do contemporarily.

I will get you to roll an IQ check (or Acting or Fast Talk – but his IQ is better) for the mild deception.  He can add his +1 Forerunner Status bonus to the roll.

Irrespective of the result, Nanny will ask him if this examination took place on Russell’s World.

  1. Oliver Starr says:

    Cool. That’s good to know.

So an 11 vs 13 + 1 is 3 points of success on his end.

(Assuming he got his education there.)
    “Yes, it did.”
