5-018: Suffolk Small Food Court

Another trip in a travel pod brings Oliver to an open area built just off the pod station.  As the name suggests, this is not a large space compared to the main concourse, it is about the size of a typical food court in a contemporary shopping centre.

This area is unusual compared to others he has seem previously in that it looks like the walls have been covered in a thin clear coating and the asteroid’s natural green/grey rock colour can be seen underneath.

In the middle of the food court there are common-use tables and chairs in the middle and around the edges are several food vendors, some of whom have dedicated seating in different styles.  I don’t know is Oliver is more of a browse-offerings-and-then-decide guy or a plunge-in-and-try-something guy, but either way, based on his roll, he will locate a quiet corner stall – called simply Khun’s – smaller than the rest, with a couple of small booths out the front.  It seems they serve a variety of casserole-type meals with optional breads.  They also serve alcohol.  Interestingly, they take cash as well as Money Cards.

Does that appeal to Oliver?

Oliver will try Khun’s. Based on a 11 for his miserliness he’ll take the most standard thing he can find listed there, as opposed to anything eccentric or cheap. He’ll have a casserole with some bread and a non-alcoholic drink if available.

Oliver will, at all times, keep an eye out for legion personnel. Especially female personnel.
