5-009: Vizier Frederick’s Offices
As Oliver speaks, Frederick stares blankly at him, giving no clue as to what he thinks of this information.
When Oliver has finished he says, “A useful segue into my next point. Commencing tomorrowcycle you will all be debriefed by a Vizier assistant of mine; Vizier Lillith.”
He looks at Dicard, “You too Vizier Richard, you cannot effectively debrief yourself.”
“After the debriefs have been conducted, assuming all goes well,” he looks at Oliver, “there may be more work for some of you to do.”
“Melody will speak with each of you individually now to schedule your debrief and go over administrative matters. You may all wait here until she is ready for each of you.”
He looks at Chris, “Follow me with the trolley then return here.”
He rises and leaves by the front door, not the one to his office. Chris shrugs follows him, pushing the trolley
The meeting has taken less than three moments.
Melody says, “I’ll speak with you first Vizier Richard, of course.”
She rises and Dicard follows her out of the room.
Does Oliver want to say anything?
No. He’s surprised the meeting was so short. But he will sit quietly unless someone else says something.
