Alan appears out front a few minutes later with the Officer he was sitting with. They make their farewells and the Officer disappears off in the other direction, saying he has to get back to his ship too.
Alan wants to know what the rush is.
Do they return to the ship, or go somewhere else?
“Dicard wants to go, or something. Just doing what I’m told. He wants us to head back straight away. Uddin’s missing too.”
