Does he want the glasses to self-contained and process everything internally, or just be a display for processing in his PDA?  This is key for determining the price of the hardware. 

If he’s happy to run it off the PDA he can potentially get higher bonuses (assuming he can write good enough software) and the hardware will cost $350.  However, it has all the disadvantages of having the larger device connected to the glasses via a radio link.

If he wants it to be completely internal to the glasses it will be limited to giving him a +1 bonus on skills and the hardware will cost $2,800.  It will still be able to radio-connect to another device but won’t have to in order to operate.
