4-016: Aboard Snark 416 – Control Room

I’ve been using an estimate of 1 Task per book so a bit over 400 Tasks. 

Normally this would be covered by the Improvement Through Study rules [B292]; as this is partly Adventuring (these books are part of the Treasure you recovered from your Dungeon Crawl through Argyle’s lodge!) and given the nature of some of the material in the exercise books I’m ruling it’s twice as effective as Self-Learning normally would be.

Dicard seems at a bit of a loss at your question, finally he comes up with, “Fine, I think.”

Give me a Mathematics(Computer Science) roll at +1 to see how he goes predicting how long the computer might take to crack the password (he can’t know for sure, it’s basically a waiting game until the computer stumbles across the right one.)
