3-246: Aboard Snark 416 II

Erin says, “quiet.  Quieter than wherever you have been by the look of it.”

She says the number is programmed into the ship’s comm unit.

“Do you two want some toast?  Coffee?”

Chris agrees to both.  It occurs to Oliver that Chris is still intoxicated from quaffing the bottle of spirits at the lodge.

Oliver makes the call, is greeted by a husky voiced woman at the other end, “Traveller’s Inn, this is Sadie.”

Apparently Dr Fromm isn’t there but Oliver can leave a message along the lines he described.

It’s possible Oliver had a bout of the shakes in the Aerostat on the way back; I’ll leave it up to you – nightmares are fine if you prefer.

While Oliver is still up, Alan gets back and makes a beeline for his room, grunting some sort of greeting at Erin on the way through.

Dicard arrives shortly after, drops off the trolley load of goodies and says he is going out to talk to the local Vizierate people.

Oliver will fall into a troubled sleep in his cabin.

Is there anything you want Oliver to do before you leave Pristine?  Are you satisfied with progress toward module goals?  Are you happy to depart?

  1. Oliver Starr says:

His waking hours will mostly be spent nerding. Oliver’s primary task is getting into that computer. If there are walls he hits he will take a break by deciphering more notebooks from the collection. As recreational free time he will read his electronic engineering book in attempt to understand it better.

He will do this for the rest of the stay on Pristine and on the trip back to their base.

Oliver is content to the extent that he doesn’t have much choice anyway and doesn’t completely want to be here. The vizierate said bring back a book so he brought back a few boxes of books and a personal computer.

If they wanted something else they’ll need to be more specific.

Oh and it’s probably time for a journal entry.

    So yes. Ready to go.
