The door unlocks about the same time Chris returns from the kitchen with a pair of tongs and a bag of mini snack bars; he offers Oliver one.

The flare is still in with Dicard and Alan.

    Haven’t eaten since we left so I’ll take one and scoff it down. Then I’ll grab the tongs, attempt to pickup the flare, crack the door a little, lightly toss it in, close the door then move behind a wall.
