3-135: Back In the Foyer of Argyle’s Lodge XXIV

I doubt Oliver’s curiosity will allow him to resist looking through the doorway into the Common Room (from behind the counter where it’s somewhat safe).

The source of the white light is obvious – where the computer used to be is now a bright pillar of white fire.  This is not typical behaviour from electronics as far as Oliver is aware.

Oliver does note that the flames from the liquid are dying down slightly as that fuel source is consumed.  The carpet doesn’t really burn.

Some of the stuff on the table is burning merrily away and the couch has taken alight of its own, but in another 30 seconds the worst of the flames have died out.

Your flare is now exhausted and the white flame in the computer begins to dim at about the same time.

(NB:  You can preempt that 30 seconds passing if you want to do something earlier.)

  1. Oliver Starr says:

I’ll wait for the fire to die down. Not really up to me if Dicard and Halcyon want to extinguish the flames. I’m a little disheartened that the computer is fried.
