3-127: Back In the Foyer of Argyle’s Lodge XIX


Your flare kick is a bit awkward, but kind of does the job, the flare doesn’t go as far into the room as you might have hoped, sits resting a little way past the plate.

You step out of the doorway and Chris leans out into the room, lets off three blasts and ducks back again.

Almost immediately the turret starts up and begins peppering the carpet where the flare is lying, you can see the rounds impacting around it, kicking up chunks of now-smouldering material; Chris apparently didn’t disable the turret.

The turret pauses a moment, then lets off another burst at the flare and you hear one of those shots whang off the metal plate.

Then there is quiet.

The flare is still burning and there is a scorched smell of carpet and a tang of firearms.
