3-121: In the Garage at Argyle’s Hunting Lodge II

You spend a while in the garage, and find the following that might be useful:
  • A portable blow torch running off some sort of hydrocarbon fuel
  • An electric camp stove and a spare external D cell [see UT18-19 for details of power cells] to run it.
  • Two powerful electric torches (flashlights)
  • The half-track utility has a survival kit with 6 more flares in it, and a flare gun to fire them
  • The mobile lifter has a big spotlight rig on it, but may be difficult to get up the stairs, it is useful for looking around the garage
  • Against one wall are three sheets of 1m x 1m x 5mm steel plating, and some smaller off-cuts, the big plates are quite heavy though (88lb/40kg each).
  • The garage contains a well-kitted out workshop and there are tools such as bench and portable drills, a spot welder, a grinder etc.

You have a bunch of data about how the turrets work if you think back over what you have seen.  Oliver will note that the cameras and the turrets seem to move in a similar way.

I’ll take the blowtorch, the flashlights, the flares and the flare gun. I’ll ask Chris about the sheets and if he thinks it’s worth pulling them up the stairs to use as cover. I’ll grab one of the portable drills and a set of heads if I can.

It appears the turrets track light and fire on heat. Whether or not they trace heat through walls is what i plan to test.

“If there’s anything you guys want, feel free. If you’re comfortable with minor theft. Otherwise let’s head back on up.”
