3-068: In the Foyer of Argyle’s Lodge
As you swing the door open the right hand turret pivots rapidly toward you and clicks at you.
Oliver may have a slight sphincter-gripping moment.
The flare is roughly in the middle of the room, slightly toward the window side, the carpet around it is smouldering and smoking. Your torch is just inside the front door, pointing roughly in the direction of the left-hand turret.
The flare is very bright, and casts long shadows and pink light against the walls.
Oliver’s weapon is still holstered, yes?
The others follow you in in order of closeness to the door.
Chris then Alan then Dicard.
Chris has finished reloading his shotgun.
Halcyon has two pistols out.
Dicard has his electrolaser out.
Along the back wall there is an armchair facing toward the windows with a side table next to it. It looks like you can fold a video screen down from the roof where it would be easy to see from the arm chair.
Make a PER roll.
Roll 6.
My gun is holstered. I have the tool kit and my one remaining flare in addition to my standard gear.
If the flare is a fire hazard I will dispose of it into the snow by the front.
I’ll recover my torch and look for a light switch if nobody has already.
“I’ll have a look around here, if you want to check the other rooms.” I’ll say indirectly to the group. “Unless Discard has another plan.”
I’ll scour the room for anything that looks like a switchboard or a computer, as well as seeing if I can pull the video screen down.
