3-012: At the Large Hunting Lodge II

Having disappeared upstairs without waiting to see what the others do, Oliver wakes the next morning in a comfortable, if somewhat low-tech room.

It is light outside again; Pristine’s rotation is a couple of Jobs shorter than a full Cycle.

A coating of ice has formed on the windows making the room light somewhat milky, it looks cold outside although it is toasty in here.

Anyone who slept in a room will have a similar awakening.  Anyone who slept in the crawler will awaken less salubriously.

  1. Oliver Starr says:

I’ll get up, go through my bag, which should be sharing the bed with me, if the bed is next to a wall the bag will be against it, if not I’ll have it at my feet. After making sure everything is there, I’ll go downstairs and see if the owner is there, or some other worker.
If it’s the owner I’ll apologize for last night. Regardless if there’s a worker there I’ll ask if the kitchen is open.
