3-010: Approaching the Large Hunting Lodge

If anyone wants to do anything while stopped or on the second half of the trip, post below.

Otherwise, after break to use the Crawler’s cramped toilet (Alan may insist on calling it a ‘head‘) and a rest, Alan will drive the Crawler the remainder of the way to the larger hunting lodge you all visited this morning.

There are a few dim external lights on at the Large Hunting Lodge as you approach and there are a half-dozen vehicles in the vehicle park.  A couple of lights are on inside, but there is no sign of movement.

The clouds are totally covering the sky, the wind has become gusty and visibility is poor.  The trip has taken longer than expected due to the bad weather (unless Alan wants to push it; which will require a driving roll in these conditions.)  With the wind chill factor the Crawler’s external temperature gauge reads -32°C.  The time is RG01 standard, local night.

At this point you’ve all probably been awake for 18-19 hours.  Christopher may have slept while on the road, but Oliver and Richard have the Light Sleeper disadvantage so won’t have, and we hope Alan hasn’t.
