3-002: Outside Argyle’s Hunting Lodge
To give you a sense of the terrain, and layout it is something like this:
Noting, of course, that you are parked near the fence looking up at the half-buried hunting lodge not flying overhead and so don’t have anything like the complete view this picture suggests.
You are all broadly aware of your backgrounds/skills so it is reasonable that Richard would be aware that Oliver is some sort of ‘computer guy’.
Alan notes general information about the Crawler (see link).
Christopher is correct, no time limit was given for the mission.
If there’s a wireless network running in there, Oliver can’t detect it, let alone break into it. Which might mean any number of things.
Let’s say it’s taken about 5 moments (7.5 minutes) to have that conversation and for Oliver and Alan to investigate things.
“Sorry, Boss, nothing I can do from here. I’ll need to get in and go old school. I’m capable of bypassing locks, digital and analog. I’ve done this sort of thing before. However it was a lot less… Military. I feel I’m insufficiently equipped to be breaking in at the moment.”
Chris has one point over Oliver in stealth but I am still proficient in it. I also have accompanying skills for sabotage and infiltration.
I have however noticed I did forget to bring in a set of lock picks… Am I able to determine if my laptop or PDA is capable of infiltrating digital locks or will I need something like a slicer kit?
I didn’t think about everything I needed before we left. Oops.
“At the moment, wait until he needs food sounds like the highest chance of success.”
Christopher: “these plans dont seem to be working. You cover me, im going in.
Open for discussion on that but thats what he would do
“Shame, well if the defenses are internal we could have a peek closer to the wall.”
(If the wall looks rammable)
“We could try ramming the wall.”
(If we all green light Chrisopher going in.)
Shrugs, and draws pistol
